Here’s how to set up your first membership.
Once you have logged in to your Open Sessions account, go to ‘Billing’ at the top of the page, before clicking on ‘Memberships’.
This will bring up the following screen:
Click on ‘New Membership’ in the top right corner to open this screen:
This is where you need to input the membership details. Give your membership a name to help customers understand what exactly they are purchasing. For example, this could be something along the lines of “Adult Membership” or “Term 1 Membership”.
Use the drop down menu to determine how frequently you want to take the payment for this membership. This can be weekly, monthly, a one-off payment or you can select ‘Custom’ to enter a different payment frequency.
Once you have decided the payment frequency, you need to set the time period for which the membership will be valid. Click into the ‘Valid from’ and ‘Valid to’ boxes to select a start date and end date for the membership.
The final step is to set the cost for your membership. Type a value into the ‘Amount’ box to determine how much each payment will be. This payment will be deducted from the customer’s account on the membership start date, and will be repeated at the intervals specified during payment frequency.
For example, the below membership that starts on 2nd February 2019 will charge the customer £10 on the 2nd of February 2019, and then continue to take £10 on the 2nd of each month until the 1st of February 2020 when the membership ends.
When you have finished inputting all the membership details, click ‘Create Membership’ to make your membership live. Once the start date is reached, the membership will be available for customers to purchase.
